Collaboratively designed by Sillyworks and HMX, the Waverider V2 Tactile Switch takes inspiration from ocean waves, with a design that evokes sunlight filtering through water, distant reefs and glistening.
True to its name, it features a tactile first, linear second keystroke – the first half feels smooth and gradual, while the second half glides linearly, creating a rhythmic, wave-like feel. The V2 enhances tactile feedback compared to the V1, balancing the two phases perfectly for a dynamic typing experience.
It maintains a crisp sound profile, with a loud bottom-out and noticeably quieter rebound (thanks to tactile resistance), avoiding the harshness of linear switches with long springs. Retaining the V1’s high-quality materials, it uses a shorter travel for better keycap compatibility.
