Co-developed by XLLAB and HMX, the Butter Tactile Silent Switch is an HP-style large tactile switch with a crisp, light sound and no mushy bottom-out. It features HMX’s new silent mould and a two-tone integrated injection-moulded stem, ensuring the silicone stays secure with no excess wobble and consistent performance.
Hardened silicone delivers a distinct tactile feedback and almost no mushy bottom-out. Slightly louder than the common mellow, warm tonal sound, it produces a deep, drum-like thud when pressed firmly. The pure PA66 top housing reduces rebound noise – preventing it from overshadowing the bottom-out sound – for a comfortable overall audio experience.
Due to its tactile structure, a faint metallic hum may be heard when pressed close to the ear, but this is barely noticeable once installed. A built-in light guide column ensures even RGB lighting, complemented by generous factory lubrication and a sleek butter-coloured design for smooth typing.
